If it feels like you’re stuck in the same arguments, walking on eggshells,
or missing the closeness you used to have, this workshop is for you.

Hold Me Tight is a guided, eight-week couples workshop rooted in emotional connection and attachment science.

It’s designed to help you and your partner understand each other more deeply, communicate more clearly, and rebuild a sense of safety and closeness, together.

When Conversations Turn Into Conflict

Most couples don’t struggle because they don’t care. They struggle because stress, unmet needs, and old patterns take over, quietly at first, then all at once.

In this workshop, you’ll begin to understand:

Why the same disagreements keep showing up

What’s really happening beneath the surface of conflict

How to reach for each other instead of pulling away

Conflict isn’t the problem. Disconnection is, and connection can be rebuilt.

What This Workshop Focuses On

Hold Me Tight is based on research-supported relationship principles that help couples create emotional safety and a lasting connection.

Together, we’ll work on:

✅ Building a strong emotional foundation rooted in
trust and security

✅ Identifying harmful interaction patterns and learning
how to shift them

✅ Understanding attachment needs
(yours and your partner’s)

✅ Strengthening communication without blame,
shutdown, or defensiveness

This work isn’t about who’s right. It’s about learning how to feel close again, even when things are hard.

Week One: Understanding Love & Attachment

• Learn what secure attachment really looks like

• Understand the science of attachment and
romantic relationships

• Get introduced to Emotionally Focused
Therapy (EFT) concepts

Week Two: How Love Goes Wrong

• Learn about common negative relationship
patterns (“The Demon Dialogues”)

• Identify the three most common dysfunctional
cycles couples fall into

• Begin mapping your own negative interaction
cycle, your relational “dance”

Week Three: Finding the Raw Spots

• Identify emotionally sensitive topics in your
relationship

• Understand why these topics feel so painful

• Practice discussing raw spots in supportive,
emotionally safe ways

Week Four: Fixing Mistakes & Creating a Secure Base

• Learn how to repair missteps and
misunderstandings

• Begin building a new, positive interaction cycle

• Strengthen emotional safety and connection

Week Five: Becoming Open & Responsive

• Learn how to be emotionally accessible,
responsive, and engaged

• Practice vulnerability and sharing deeper
emotions

• Respond to each other in more attuned,
supportive ways

Week Six: Forgiving Injuries & Trusting Again

• Learn how to repair after relationship ruptures

• Practice forgiveness and emotional repair

• Rebuild and strengthen trust

Week Seven: Bonding Through Sex & Touch

• Explore the connection between attachment
and physical intimacy

• Understand how emotional closeness supports
sexual connection

• Strengthen both physical and emotional
bonding

Week Eight: Keeping Your Love Alive

• Reflect on the skills you’ve learned together

• Identify ongoing relationship goals

• Practice maintaining healthy, connected
relationship habits long-term

Emotional intimacy and physical closeness are deeply connected.

While this workshop is not explicit sex therapy, it does help couples:

✅ Talk about intimacy with more openness
and understanding

✅ Rebuild emotional closeness as the foundation
for physical connection

✅ Access trusted resources to continue
growing together
