Many individuals seek therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected in their relationships. They may face unresolved conflicts, struggle with communication, or grapple with patterns that seem impossible to break. Amber takes a compassionate approach, creating a supportive space for clients to explore these challenges, understand their root causes, and effect meaningful change. Believing in each person’s inherent strength to build a fulfilling and connected life, Amber guides clients on their journey toward growth and healing.
Using a family systems lens alongside attachment-based, trauma-informed modalities, Amber helps clients strengthen communication, navigate conflict, and rebuild trust. Specializing in working with couples and families, Amber focuses on fostering resilient, empathetic, and lasting bonds. Through tailored sessions, she provides tools and insights to help clients thrive.
Amber offers accessible therapy sessions on weekday evenings (Monday through Thursday), both in person and via online video-therapy.
Currently a graduate-level intern studying Marriage & Family Therapy at National University, Amber is on track to complete her master’s degree in 2025. Drawing on 16 years of experience as a recruiter and college admissions advisor, Amber also supports clients navigating relationships during career, entrepreneurial, and other adult life transitions.
Informed by personal experiences—including the grief of losing a younger brother to suicide, growth through divorce and remarriage, supporting both straight and LGBTQ children, and navigating the anxiety of their military service—Amber understands the complexities life brings. She views life’s challenges as opportunities for growth, often finding beauty even in its most difficult curves.
As a therapist, Amber employs evidence-based practices, using proven techniques to address each client’s unique needs. Together with clients, she hones in on the modalities best suited to their identity and circumstances.
