As a play therapist, Randi works with children ages 2 to 14, offering both child-centered and directive approaches that honor the language of play as a powerful tool for healing. She creates warm, imaginative environments where children can safely explore emotions, practice communication, and process life experiences. Through play-based techniques—including sand tray, art, storytelling, role-playing, and games—Randi helps children manage concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, anger, emotional awareness, family transitions, self-esteem, and peer relationships. Her sessions are grounded in connection, curiosity, and compassion, allowing children to grow through expressive, nonverbal, and creative exploration.
Randi also takes a personalized approach to maternal mental health, tailoring her care to support women during pregnancy, postpartum, parenting, and life transitions. Depending on each client’s needs and goals, she draws from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotional Freedom Techniques, and mindfulness. She believes in collaboration throughout the therapeutic process and strives to empower women to foster self-nourishment, growth, and confidence.
Randi brings a peaceful, warm, and empathetic presence to her work, creating safe and trusting spaces where both children and caregivers feel seen and supported. As a mother of two, including one stepchild, and married to a first responder, Randi is deeply familiar with the joys and challenges faced by modern families. Her lived experience adds richness and authenticity to her work with both children and caregivers. She is available for sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Outside of the office, Randi enjoys spending time with her two daughters and husband. Together, they love to travel, try new foods, and stay active. Their family has recently embraced small homesteading projects, including raising quail and gardening—activities that bring joy, connection, and a little adventure to their everyday life.
