Tim Sharp, MA Intern
Services Starting at $75
Accepting BCBS, UHC, Aetna, Cigna, Tricare, and Medicare
Tim is passionate about helping adolescents, young adults, and couples navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience. He works especially closely with teens facing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, identity struggles, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and school-related stress—providing a safe, supportive space for healing and growth. Recognizing adolescence as a pivotal time, he helps young people explore their thoughts and emotions, build confidence, and develop essential life skills. He also supports young adults through stress, growth, and life decisions, and helps couples strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and reconnect. Though Tim specializes in these areas, he welcomes clients of all ages into a compassionate space for healing and growth.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Arizona State University and is currently completing his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University. His approach recognizes the deep connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, helping clients reframe unhelpful patterns and build lasting resilience.
Tim believes a strong therapeutic alliance is key to meaningful change. He fosters a warm, trusting space where clients can explore challenges, gain confidence, and move toward a more fulfilling life. For those who value faith in their healing journey, he supports integrating spiritual beliefs into therapy.
Outside of his work, Tim enjoys life with his wife, their two little princesses, and their newborn baby boy. He loves spending time with his children—singing, dancing, and exploring the outdoors. The mountains, good music, service, and playing sports bring him joy and balance.
No matter where someone is in their journey, Tim is committed to helping them take the next step.
“The most important step a man can take. It’s not the first one, is it? It’s the next one. Always the next step.” – Brandon Sanderson
