Perla Garcia is a dedicated MSW student at Grand Canyon University with a passion for helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Arizona State University and has spent the past nine years working with children in unaccompanied minor shelters. Her extensive experience has given her a deep understanding of trauma, resilience, and the importance of providing a safe and supportive environment for healing.
Perla is passionate about working with diverse populations and welcomes clients from all backgrounds. She takes a client-centered approach, striving to create a compassionate and nonjudgmental space where individuals feel heard and empowered. Whether assisting children, families, or adults, Perla is committed to fostering personal growth, emotional well-being, and meaningful change in her clients’ lives.
Outside of her work, Perla enjoys spending time with her family, cake decorating, exercising, and shopping. These hobbies allow her to express creativity, stay active, and maintain balance in her personal and professional life.
