Kimberly earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marriage and Family Studies from Brigham Young University–Idaho and is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University. She has a strong passion for working with teenagers and young adults, especially as they navigate anxiety, depression, bullying, academic pressure, family or work stress, and the uncertainty that comes with transitioning into new stages of life.
Therapeutic Style
Having experienced anxiety related to school and the challenges of becoming a young adult herself, Kimberly understands how overwhelming these years can feel. This personal insight fuels her commitment to helping teens and young adults feel supported, grounded, and more confident as they move through this stage of life.
Kimberly strives to create a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. She uses a person-centered, strength-based approach and integrates cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing to help teens and young adults build practical coping skills, strengthen resilience, and connect more deeply with themselves.
Get to know her
Outside of her work, Kimberly enjoys golfing, swimming, and playing the violin. She loves girls’ nights with friends, Zumba, trying new ice cream shops (and will always take recommendations!), and spending time with her husband and daughter exploring everything Arizona has to offer.
