Many individuals, couples, and families seek therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected—especially in the wake of betrayal, unresolved trauma, or painful relational patterns that seem impossible to break. Whether you’re navigating infidelity, narcissistic abuse, generational trauma, or the lingering impact of complex PTSD, you may find yourself longing for safety, clarity, and genuine connection in your relationships.
Amber specializes in helping couples and families heal from betrayal trauma, generational trauma, CPTSD, and narcissistic abuse so they can move toward secure attachment and build warm, loving, and deeply connected relationships—both within their families of origin and chosen relationships. Her work centers on transforming painful relational cycles into opportunities for growth, resilience, and lasting connection.
Grounded in attachment science and a systemic lens, Amber integrates Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy (PACT) and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT)to help partners move out of reactive patterns and into secure, collaborative functioning. She also incorporates EMDR, somatic, and experiential therapies to support nervous system regulation, trauma processing, and deeper emotional integration.
Amber believes insight alone is not enough—lasting change happens when insight is practiced and embodied. Her sessions are active, collaborative, and experiential, helping clients not only understand their patterns but also practice new ways of relating both inside and outside of the therapy room.
With a compassionate yet direct approach, Amber helps clients:
- Repair trust after betrayal and rebuild emotional safety
- Break intergenerational cycles and rewrite relational patterns
- Strengthen communication and conflict repair skills
- Develop emotional regulation and nervous system awareness
- Cultivate secure attachment and deeper intimacy
Amber offers sessions Saturday mornings, weekdays, and Monday & Tuesday evenings, both in-person and via secure video therapy.
Her work is also informed by lived experience—including navigating grief after the loss of her younger brother to suicide, growth through divorce and remarriage, parenting both straight and LGBTQ children, and supporting loved ones through military service. These experiences deepen her empathy and reinforce her belief that even life’s most painful chapters can become catalysts for transformation.
As a therapist, Amber is committed to using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches tailored to each client’s unique identity, culture, and goals—helping you move from survival into connection, clarity, and empowered living.
