Maryn is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) who helps couples and individuals build stronger, more connected relationships—with both themselves and the people they love. She knows how overwhelming it can feel when you’re trying to work on yourself or your relationship without the tools you need. It’s like trying to build a house when no one ever handed you a hammer—of course it’s frustrating, but it’s not your fault. Many of us were never really taught how to handle big emotions, navigate stress, or communicate in healthy ways. That’s why she believes in not just supporting clients, but also educating them, especially about how to use self-care and communication in ways that are uplifting and restorative.

Maryn works with couples at all stages of their relationship—whether preparing for a life together, feeling stuck in recurring conflict, or trying to rebuild after a breach of trust. It’s important to feel supported and understood with your therapist, so Maryn checks in regularly to make sure the process feels right for you. She prioritizes balancing each person’s perspective so therapy can be a space where each partner feels heard. She also works with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, infidelity, identity exploration, and the unique experiences that come with being neurodivergent or part of the LGBTQ+ community.

Her style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. Therapy with Maryn is a space to slow down, get curious, and connect more deeply—with yourself and with others. This could mean working to untangle patterns that keep showing up, improve communication in your relationship, or just feel a little more like yourself again. Regardless, she’ll meet you with kindness and clarity every step of the way. Maryn believes that therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all—so she takes the time to get to know each client’s story, strengths, and goals. Every session is tailored to meet you where you are and support what matters most to you. She draws from a range of evidence-based approaches. She uses a neuro-informed, attachment-based, and trauma-aware lens to guide the work, blending tools from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the Gottman Method, and more. She believes our nervous systems are doing their best with what they’ve learned—and sometimes they just need a chance to update the map.

Outside the therapy room, Maryn loves reading, going for walks with her dog, and spending time with her partner (often playing video games or trying new restaurants). On quieter days, you’d probably find her embroidering, doing yoga, or trying to resist the call of a new book she just started reading.
