Finding the right support for a neurodivergent child can often feel like searching for a missing puzzle piece. If your child is navigating the complexities of Autism, ADHD, or other related disorders, you need someone who truly “gets” how their brain works. I specialize in supporting children (ages 3–12), teens, and young adults as they navigate challenges with anxiety, low self-esteem, and executive functioning skills.
With over a decade of experience—including five years as a Special Education Teacher and six years in behavioral health—I’ve seen firsthand the gap in mental health care for neurodivergent youth. I became a therapist to close that gap, helping my clients find more joy and confidence in their daily lives.
In our sessions, you can expect an environment that is explorative, client-led, heart-centered, genuine, empathetic, and patient. While we will certainly “talk things out,” I am an active therapist. This means we will spend time practicing tangible coping skills or engaging in creative activities to help your child express their feelings and manage triggers.
Parents often tell me they appreciate my ability to build an easy, healthy bond with their children, which creates a safe space for real growth. I’ve helped children who were struggling with aggressive behaviors and school-related anxiety transform into students who can confidently navigate the classroom and connect more deeply with their families. My goal is for you or your child to leave our sessions feeling welcomed, safe, and prepared with the tools needed to take on environments that once felt overwhelming.
Outside of the therapy room, you’ll find me cooking, traveling, writing poetry, or attending concerts. I am currently completing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Arizona State University to further my mission of helping every child realize their greatest potential.
I am so happy you are taking this positive step for yourself or your child. Please reach out to schedule a session at our Mesa location on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays.
